Ingredients
12ozspaghetti noodles
1lbground beef
1cupdiced carrots
1cupdiced celery
1medium sized oniondiced
2tspminced garlic
16 oz cantomato paste
1cupbeef broth
1tspbeef better than bouillon paste (or 1 cube)
2bay leaves
1tspgarlic powder
1/4cupmilk
1/4cupheavy whipping cream
1/4cupolive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring 6 cups water to a boil. Cook noodles in salted water per package instructions. Drain.
Heat olive oil over medium heat in Dutch oven or large pot. Add the diced onions, carrots and celery and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften. Add in minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Season with salt and pepper.
Add in ground beef and cook until the meat is browned, stirring often. Season meat mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Stir in the tomato paste until mixed well. Add in the beef broth, bouillon paste, bay leaves and garlic powder and stir until combined. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in milk and heavy cream until combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and remove the bay leaves. Serve over the pasta of your choice.
